FTU Spin Me Around





Spin me around was created by myself on the 1st Feb 2013. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co-incidental.

Supplies Needed
Tube of Choice ( a sitting one preferably ) I have used the awesome art of Elias Chatzoudis HERE
Scrapkit. Fabulous FTU  Music Music by Rosesblack  HERE
Template by Me  HERE

Filters Used
Xero- Radiance
Eyecandy-gradient glow

Lets Crack On
Open template, duplicate and close original. Delete credits, background and small grey rectangle layer.
In layer palette- large grey rectangle. Selections-select all- float. Paste paper 16 and re size by 80%. De float, invert and hit delete, Select none and delete original layer. Go to adjust-add/remove noise. Add noise. Settings - Gaussian-40%-Monochrome checked.Add a drop shadow.
Back to layer Palette-white rectangle, Select all- float and paste paper 17. De float, invert and delete. Select none and delete original white rectangle .Drop shadow.

Layer Palette- Grey circle. Select all and float. We are going to create the effect of an old vinyl record. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with gradient. Foreground  a darkish grey and background black. Settings- sunburst-100 repeats- link centre focal points. Select none, delete original circle.
Layer Palette-large red circle.Select all and float. add new raster layer and flood fill with gradient using 2 colours from your tube.Settings - Radial- angle 45- repeats 2. Select none, delete original circle and drop shadow.

Back again to layer palette. Merge small circle 1 and 2 and select all- float. Add new raster layer and flood fill with same gradient as previous layer.It should work out that each circle is predominately one colour. ( my left circle pink, my right yellow) while still selected, paste elements disk 1 and 2 re sized by 50%. Place them centrally over circle layers, alternate colours, pink on yellow, yellow on pink. De float- invert and delete any overhang.Select none. Delete original circles. go back to you layer palette and add a drop shadow to black circle borders and merge down. Then go to word art layer, Plug ins- Eyecandy and add a thin gradient glow.  (colour taken from your tube)

Paste your tube and apply Xero-Radiance to your liking.Duplicate your tube and add a drop shadow on the original. on the duplicate, apply gaussian blur on 3 and change blend mode to soft light.

Now to adding the rest of our elements.
Note 2- re sized by 90% Image Mirror. Place behind tube. towards top of tag. Above vinyl record, below disks. Drop shadow.
Microphone- re sized by 70%. Place at bottom of tag, Behind tube, position to make it look like your tube is sat on top. Drop shadow.
Deco 2-re sized by 70%, place at the bottom of tag to your left, Behind Microphone, above disks.
Guitar-re sized by 90%, Rotate to left by 8% and place to your right, position to make it appear your tube is leaning against it, Drop shadow.
Star 6-re sized by 110% . Place as your bottom layer and position to your liking.

Add your Name and copyright info. Merge visible, Crop/re size and sharpen. save as PNG.
