PTU Pink Lemonade

CT Tutorial using PTU kit **Pink Lemonade** by Lori at Scrap it Studio and tube by Alex Prihodko

This tutorial was written my Myself. It is my own idea and creation.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I have used the beautiful artwork of Alex Prihodko at Pics For Design
Scrap kit - Gorgeous PTU Pink Lemonade by Lori at Scrap It Studio
Template by Me  HERE
Font used - Tall trees

Filters/Plug Ins

EyeCandy - HSB Noise
Xero - Radiance
Mura's Meister - Copies

Open template, duplicate and close original. Delete credits and background.

In layer palette - Layer 1 - Selections - Select all - Float.

From kit c/paste paper 25.

De float - Invert - Delete. Select none.

 Change blend mode to  and merge down with temp layer. D /shadow

Layer palette - Layer 2 - Selections - Select all - Float.
C/paste Paper 15.
De Float - Invert - Delete.
Select none. Delete temp layer.
Apply Xero - Radiance twice (Settings below) D/shadow.

Layer Palette - Merge layers 3 and 4.
Selections - Select all - Float.
C/paste paper 22 re sized to 80%.
De float - Invert - Delete.
Select none. Delete temp layer and d/shadow.
Move this layer below layer 1.

Layer Palette - Layer 5.
Using Manual Color Correction change colour to your liking. I took a soft pink from my tube.
Apply EyeCandy - Hsb Noise (settings below) D/shadow.

Layer Palette - layer 6 - Selections - Select all - Float.
C/paste paper 12 re sized to 80%.
De float - Invert - Delete. Select None.
Change blend mode to Overlay.

From Kit, C/paste Flower 1 re sized to 25%. Apply Mura's Copies - Encircle (Settings below)
Position behind layer 6 above layer 5. Duplicate and change blend mode of top copy to screen.
D/shadow the bottom copy.

C/paste Fruit slice 1. Duplicate twice so 3 copies in all.
Move copy 1 to bottom of canvas and position above layer 7.
Copy 2 re size to 80% and position above layer 8. Change blend mode to luminance legacy.
Copy 3 re size to 50% and position above layer 9. Duplicate again and change blend mode of top copy to screen. D/shadow all.


C/paste your tube above the temp layers, behind the word art and position off centre on the right. Apply Xero - Radiance to suit your tube and d/shadow.

Continue to add elements of choice from kit and position around the tube and temp layers.D/shadow to your liking. I used...

Pink Ice - Position top left behind template layers. Duplicate and mirror copy to right. Merge down. Use Manual color correction to change colour from pink to yellow.
C/paste element again and this time re size to 50%. Leave as pink. Make it so you have 4 copies in all and place 1 at each corner of the tag.

Bottles - 80%. Position bottom right. Behind tube layer. Above temp layers.

Bow 2  - Flip - Rotate right by 30. Position bottom left above Pink Ice, behind Fruit Slices.

Bird - Position to the left of tube behind Fruit Slices. Duplicate. Re size copy to 80% and mirror. Place above the original.

Button 2 - Place to the right of tube. Above this place Flower 5 re sized to 55%. Duplicate flower and change blend mode of top copy to screen. Merge down with original flower. D/shadow flower then merge down with Button. Duplicate this merged layer and place bottom left of tag above Bow, behind Fruit Slices.

Frame 4 - 50 %. - Rotate left by 30. Place top left corner above the circular temp layer. Behind the top rectangular layer. Duplicate. Mirror copy to right and merge down. Set opacity to 60.

Flower 4 - 45%. Bottom right above tube, behind word art. Duplicate, change blend mode of top copy to screen.

Flower 1 - 25%. Place at the bottom of tag, above Fruit Slice behind word art. Duplicate, change blend mode of top copy to screen.

Paper Curl 1 - 60%. Position on the left behind Button/Fruit Slice. Duplicate and mirror copy to right behind Bottles.

Merge all layers. Crop/re size to your liking. I usually sharpen at this point rather than each separate element as I go along. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask 5.0 - 30 -5.
Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info.
Save as Png.

PTU Lucky Day *Ct Tutorial*

This tutorial was written my Myself. It is my own idea and creation.

Supplies Needed

Tube by Di_Halim available at  Scraps n Company
Ptu Scrap kit 'Happy Lucky Day' by Lori at Scrap It Studio
Mask - Vix big mask 1 Vix Psp
Font used Coventry Garden

Filters Used

Xero - Radiance
Tramages - Mo Jellyfish

Open a new Image 700 x 700.
From kit c/paste Frame and position in centre of canvas.
Using magic wand tool, click in centre of Frame to float the inner.
Selections - Modify - Expand by 2.
From kit c/paste paper 11 re sized to 50%.
Move paper below frame.
Selections - Invert - Delete

Whilst still floated c/paste a close up of your tube and position to you liking
Hit delete again. Select none.
Apply Xero - Radiance to suit
I had settings at 128 / 50 / 128 /225
Change blend mode of tube to Luminance Legacy and reduce opacity to around 80.
Merge tube layer down with paper layer.
D/shadow frame and merge frame down with tube/paper layer.
Everything should now be on 1 layer.
Apply Tramages - Mo Jellyfish with settings - size 30 - offset 173 - shading 132.

C/paste the Frame again. Re size to 70%.
Click inner with magic wand to float.
Selections - Modify - Expand by 2.
C/paste paper 7 re sized to 30% Move below Frame.
Selections - Invert - Delete - Select none.
D/shadow Frame and merge down with paper layer.

Move smaller Frame to the left of canvas and position behind the larger Frame. Duplicate and mirror copy to right (see pic below)

C/paste your main tube toward the right side of canvas. D/shadow.

Now continue by adding desired elements from kit around the tube and frame layers.

D/shadow to your liking. I used..

Rope Frame - 60% - Rotate left by 28. Position top right of canvas, above frame, behind tube. Use eraser tool to remove excess that shows above top of tube.

Bow 1 - 70%. Position on left at the top of small frame. Duplicate and mirror copy to right, above rope frame.

Beer - 75%. Bottom right, above Frame.

Club - Rotate right by 7. Bottom right. Position above Beer, behind tube layer.

Charm 1 - 50%. Bottom right. Above Club, behind tube.

Sticker 2 - 75% - Rotate left by 90. Position bottom left, behind tube layer. Duplicate and mirror copy to bottom right. Above Club/Beer, behind tube.

Bow 2 - 60%. Top of large frame. behind tube.

Hat - 90% - Flip - Rotate left by 3. Position bottom left behind Tube/ Sticker.

Ticket Winner - Rotate Right by 64. Bottom left behind Hat.

Gold Coin 1 - Bottom left, behind Hat above Winner Ticket.

Gold Coin 2 - Bottom left. Behind Gold Coin 1/Winner Ticket.

Gold Coin 3 - Bottom of canvas to the right of Hat behind tube.

Lucky ticket 1 - 90% - Rotate left by 6. Bottom of canvas, above Gold Coin 3, behind tube.

Balloon 2 - 70%. Top Left above Frame/Hat/Bow1.

Balloon 3 - 60% - Mirror. Top left behind Frame/Balloon 2.

Mask Layer - C/paste Paper 3. Load mask from disk - Fit to layer. In layer palette delete mask - merge group. Use raster deform tool to size and position to your liking. 

Merge all layers. Crop/re size to your liking. I usually sharpen at this point rather than each separate element as I go along. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask 5.0 - 30 -5.

Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info.

Save as Png.

PTU Xiri By Roman Zaric

Ptu Tutorial Using Xiri by Roman Zaric and matching re vamped scrap kit by Lysiras Graphic World

Tube - Xiri by Roman Zaric

Kit - Xiri by Lysiras Graphic World

Mask - Wsl 84 by Chelle

Font used Coventry Garden

Filters Used

Tramages - Mo Jellyfish.

Open a new image 700 x 700. 

Starting with the mask layer, C/paste paper 7 from kit re sized to 85%.

Load mask from disk - Fit to layer.

In layer palette - Delete mask - Merge group.

From kit c/paste Frame 2 re sized to 70%.

Using magic wand click in centre of frame to float the inner.

Selections - Modify - Expand by 3.

C/paste Paper 7 re sized to 75%. Move below frame in layer palette.

Selections - Invert - Delete.

Select None .
To paper layer apply Tramages - Mo Jellyfish - Tile Size 130 - Offset 173 - Shading 132.
 D/shadow frame and merge down.

C/paste Glitter Splat element re sized to 25%. Place at the top left of tag behind the Frame. Duplicate and mirror copy to right. Merge down, duplicate once again and flip copy to bottom. Merge again so all 4 copies are on 1 layer and d/shadow.

Again at top left of tag behind Frame C/paste Puddle Ribbon - re sized to 65%. Duplicate mirror copy to top right. Merge down & d/shadow.
Then C/paste Lovely Bow re sized to 30% and position above the Frame top left. Duplicate mirror copy to right. Merge down & shadow.

C/paste your tube and position Slightly off centre to left of Frame. D/shadow.

Continue to add elements of choice from kit and position around the tube and Frame layers. D/shadow to your liking. I used ....

Cherry Cupcake - 55% Position bottom left behind tube.

Giant Lollipop - 50%. Rotate left by 12. Bottom left behind Cupcake.

Chocolate Heart - 20%. Bottom left above Cupcake.

Heart Boxes 60%. Place behind and to right side of tube.

Butterfly - 30%. Rotate right by 12. Place bottom right above Heart Boxes.

Rose 25% Bottom right above Butterfly, behind tube.

Sparkles 30%. Bottom right, behind tube layer above Butterfly. Duplicate and mirror copy to left.


Merge all layers. Crop/re size to your liking. I usually sharpen at this point rather than each separate element as I go along. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask 5.0 - 30 -5.
Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info.
Save as Png.

PTU Ho Ho Ho ( CT Tutorial )

I have some news. Lori at Scrap it studio.com  has asked me to become part of her CT. I'm a little nervous about it as I've never done it before but here is my first tutorial using 1 of her fab kits. 

Supplies Needed

Tube Of Choice. I have used the super artwork of  Elias Chatzoudis

PTU Scrap Kit is 'Christmas 2012' By Lori at Scrap It Studio.Com. You can purchase her kits  HERE

Font used - GradoGradoo

Filters Used

Mura's Meister - Copies
Tramages - Mo Jellyfish
EyeCandy - Shadowlab
Dsb Flux - Linear Transmission

Open a new image 700 x 700. 

From the kit c/paste Frame 1 (red) re size to 108%. Position in the centre of canvas.

Apply Dsb Flux - Linear Transmission (settings below)

Duplicate layer. change blend mode on top copy to hard light then merge down.
Add a white shadow using  Eyecandy - Shadowlab - No blur-  Distance 3 -Direction 270 - Opacity 100.

Above this layer c/paste Frame 2 (green) re size to 110%. D/shadow.

C/paste Red Frame 1 again above the green frame and re size to 102%. Click in centre of red frame with magic wand tool to float the inner. Selections - modify - expand by 2.

C/paste paper 7 re sized to 60%. Invert the selection and hit delete. Select None. Apply Tramages - Mo Jellyfish ( settings below) to paper and move below Frame. D/shadow Frame.

C/paste Star element. Apply Mura's - Copies- Encircle (settings below) Move to the bottom left of tag behind the Green Frame layer. Duplicate and mirror copy to right. Merge down. Duplicate again and flip copy to top. Merge down again and d/shadow.

C/paste Tree element re size to 110% and position in the centre of image. Duplicate re size copy to 0% and position to the left of original. Duplicate again and mirror copy to right. D/shadow all 3.

C/paste your tube and position toward the right of the canvas above Trees. Duplicate, working on top copy add a gaussian blur of 3 and change blend mode to soft light, opacity to 60. D shadow bottom copy.

Continue to add elements of choice from kit. working around tube and Frame layers. D/shadow to your liking. I used ....

Snowflake 1 - 40 %. Make 3 copies. Position at the top of each tree.

Lights - 85% Top of canvas above Tree, behind tube.

Holly - 60% Position top left behind Lights. Duplicate and mirror copy to right.

Santa - 90 %. left side of tag behind left side Tree.

Candy Cane - Mirror. Centre of tag behind tube.

Merge all layers. Crop/re size to your liking. I usually sharpen at this point rather than each separate element as I go along. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask 5.0 - 30 -5.
Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info.
Save as Png.

PTU The Attic

The Attic was written by Myself on 25th October 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed
Tube. I have used the amazing artwork of   Arthur Crowe
Ptu Kit is 'Crazy Bride' by Bibi's Collection at  SATC
Mask Big Mask 1 by Vix at  Vix Psp

Font used is Cheap Fire

Filters Used ( optional )

Tramages - Mo Jellyfish
Xero - Nostalgia

Open a new image 700 x 700.

Because we have no template or frame to work around start by creating a centre spot on your canvas.

( we will be deleting this, it's just an aid to placement of our first elements)

So....Using any colour, create a vector circle 200 x 200. Objects - Align - Center in canvas. Convert to raster layer.

Above the centre circle c/paste element 75 Chest Of Drawers re sized to 60%. Rotate right by 2 degrees. Position roughly half way down the circle and line up the right front corner of drawers with the right edge of circle. ( see pic below ) Once in position duplicate. Change blend mode of top copy to screen, merge down and D/shadow.

Behind your centre circle and to left side of canvas, c/paste element 43 - Door re sized to 50%. ( again see pic for placement ) Duplicate, change blend mode of top copy to screen, merge down and d/shadow.

With these elements in place, delete your circle.

C/paste your tube and position above Drawers on the left hand side. I positioned my tube to look as though she was rested just on the edge. D/shadow.

 To left of and behind tube c/paste element 74 Trunk re sized to 60% - Image - Mirror - D/shadow.

To the right of canvas behind Drawers c/paste element 40 Armchair re sized to 50% and d/shadow.

Above and behind Armchair C/paste element 4 Window  re sized to 25%. Behind the window c/paste paper  4 re sized to 25%. Position paper to your liking then take your selection tool set on rectangle and make a selection just inside the outer edge of the Window Frame. ( see pic )

Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none. Duplicate the paper layer and change blend mode of top copy to screen. Merge down.
 D/shadow Window Frame and merge down with paper layer. At the top of your Window c/paste 11 Cobweb re sized to 25%. Duplicate to strengthen and merge down.

Before adding the rest of the elements put mask layers in place.

Mask layer 1- At the bottom of layer palette, c/paste paper 7 re sized to 57%. Load mask from disk - Fit to layer. In layer palette - delete mask - merge group.  Use raster deform tool to size and position. Apply Effects- Texture Effects - Brick and set opacity to your liking.

Mask layer 2 - C/paste element 46 Wood Flooring re sized to 57%. Using same mask as before - load mask from disk - fit to layer. In layer palette - delete mask - merge group. Position at the bottom of canvas above mask layer 1. Duplicate to strengthen opacity and merge down.

Continue my adding elements of choice and d/shadow to your liking.

I used....

17  Kitten - 30 %. Right side of canvas. Behind drawers, above Armchair. Duplicate, change blend mode of top copy to hard light, merge down.

20 Doll - 50 %. Bottom right. in front of the Armchair, behind Drawers.

21 Telescope - 40%. Bottom right. Above Doll, behind Drawers.

52 Book Stack - 35% - Rotate right by 3. Bottom right above Drawers. Apply Xero - Nostalgia.

22 Crystal ball - 40%. Bottom right. Above Books.

8 Spider - 20% - Mirror. Bottom right. Above Books.

16 Bottle - 27 % -Mirror - Rotate Left by 3 degrees. Bottom right to left of and above Crystal ball.

29 - Candles - 30%. Bottom left. Above Trunk, behind tube.

67 Open Book - 60%. Bottom left. Behind Candles.

31 Watch - 20% - Rotate left by 3 degrees. Bottom left. Behind Open Book. Above left corner of Trunk.

42 Suit Of Armour - 45% - Mirror. Left of canvas. Above the door, behind Trunk. Apply Tramages - Mo Jellyfish to create a shadow effect.

55 Gold Sparkle - 30%. Place top left behind Armour / Tube. Duplicate and move copy to bottom right behind Crystal Ball.

5 Web - 30% - Flip. Place bottom left behind the Trunk / Open Book. Duplicate and Move copy to bottom right behind the Crystal Ball. Use eraser tool to remove the bits you don't want.

Merge all layers. Crop/re size to your liking. I usually sharpen at this point rather than each separate element as I go along. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask 5.0 - 30 -5.
Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info.
Save as Png.

PTU Freddy's Dream

Freddy's Dream was written by myself on 14th October 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I have used the amazing artwork of Diana Gali available at  SATC

Matching Ptu Kit is 'Freddy' by Bibi's Collection. Also at  SATC

Mask Wsl 208 by Chelle at  Weescotslass Creations

Font Used - Nightmare 5


Filters Used

Tramages - Mo Jellyfish

Open a new image 700 x 700.

Starting with mask layer...

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a gradient of your choice. See pic for my gradient settings.

Load mask from disk - fit to layer. In layer palette, delete mask and merge group. Use raster deform tool to re size and position to your liking. Duplicate the layer and change blend mode of top copy to Multiply. Don't merge.

Above mask layer c/paste Element 80 Frame re sized to 50%.

 Click in centre with magic wand to float. Selections - Modify - Expand by 2. C/paste paper 8 re sized to 50%. Position. Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none. Apply Tramages - Mo Jellyfish with settings below. Repeat. Move paper layer below Frame. Go back to selections and working on paper layer, Select all - Float. C/paste Element 96 Ghost 1 Re sized to 30 %. Position towards the left.
De Float - Invert - Delete. Select none. Reduce opacity of Ghost to around 20% and merge layer down with paper layer.

Back on Frame layer. Take your magic wand tool and click inside the cut out section of the frame to float. Selections Modify - Expand by 2. Add new raster layer and flood fill the floating selection with gradient used on mask layer. Select none. Move below frame layer apply Mo jellyfish as before. Duplicate layer, change blend mode of top copy to Hard light. Merge layer down with original then merge Frame down with this layer.

D/shadow Frame and merge layer down with paper layer.

C/paste Element 18 Tree 1 re sized to 70%. Position behind Frame on the right. Duplicate and mirror copy to left side above the Frame. D/shadow.

C/paste Element 21 Tree 2 re sized to 70%. Position behind  Frame at the top of canvas. D/shadow.

C/paste your tube above Frame on the right side of canvas. D/shadow.

Work desired elements from kit around frame and tube layers and d/shadow to your liking. I used .....

41 Barbed Wire - 50%. Behind Tree/tube across centre of paper and Frame. Use eraser tool to remove excess that shows to the right of tube.

51 Hand Print - 30% Position top left of frame. Behind Tree.

14 Bird - 25%. Top left, above Tree.

2 Web - 50% - Mirror. Position bottom left of Frame, above Tree. Duplicate and move copy to top of tag behind left side of tube.

5 Jar - 70%. Bottom left, above Web layer.

118 Eyeball - 40%. Bottom Left. Position behind Jar so that it appears to be sitting in there.

103 Chainsaw - 60%. Bottom left. Above Jar.

112 Spider - 60% - Rotate right 21 degrees. Bottom left above Chainsaw. Duplicate and change blend mode of top copy to screen. Shadow the bottom copy.

13 Bones - 60%. Bottom of tag. Behind and to right of Chainsaw. Above tube layer.

130 Rose - 50 % - Rotate right by 12 degrees. Bottom of tag. Above Chainsaw and Bones.

50 Fire - 40%. Position above bottom of tube behind Bones. Duplicate and move copy up slightly behind left side of tube. Duplicate again Mirror and position this copy bottom right of  tag above tube layer.

8 Razorblades - 50%. Bottom right, above Fire.

66 Blood - 40%. Position behind tube on the right. Duplicate and move copy behind Chainsaw.

66 Blood - 20% - Mirror. Make 5 copies and position randomly along bottom edge of tag behind elements.

29  Lamp- 70% - Mirror. Top right, behind tube.

Merge all layers. Crop/re size to your liking. I usually sharpen at this point rather than each separate element as I go along. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask 5.0 - 30 -5.
Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info.
Save as Png.

PTU Call 911

Call 911 was written by Myself on 23rd August 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed

Tube. I have used the awesome artwork of Cris DeLara. Available at  Up Your Art

Ptu Scrap Kit is 'Hot 911' by **Sky Scraps** at  SATC

Font Used is Cheap Fire

Filters Used 

EyeCandy - Fire

Muras's - Copies

Open a new image 700 x 700.

From the kit c/paste element 67 Star Frame re sized to 50%. Click in centre of frame with magic wand to float. 

Selections - Modify- Expand by 3. C/paste paper 5 re sized to 50%. Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none. Move paper layer below frame. D/shadow frame and merge down.

Re size by 45% and apply Mura's - Copies - Encircle (settings below). Once Encircled apply EyeCandy - Fire. ( settings below)

Above this layer C/paste Element 35 - Chain Frame re sized to 65%. Again click in centre of frame with magic wand to float. Selections - Modify - Expand by 3. C/paste paper 7 re sized to 60%. Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none.

Move paper layer below the Star/Fire Frame. Duplicate Chain frame and move copy below Star/Fire Frame above paper layer. Working on top copy of Chain Frame d/shadow then take eraser tool and remove chain above the 3 left hand side stars of the Star/Fire Frame. ( See Pic )

Re size all layers to 105 % and set canvas size back to 700 x 700. C/paste your tube. D/shadow and position above the Frames. With your tube now in position, take eraser tool and remove Star/ Fire Frame on the right hand side of tube up to the inner edge of chain frame to expose the red brick paper.

C/paste Element 21 - Tyres re sized to 60%.  Position at the bottom right of tag behind tube above Frames. D/shadow, duplicate and mirror copy to left. Merge the 2 layers and apply EyeCandy - Fire again with settings as before.

C/paste Element 53 Hot 911 Sign re sized to 70%. Position bottom centre of tag above tube layer.

Continue to add elements of choice from kit and drop shadow to your liking. I used .....

Element 29 Smoke Cloud. Rotate to right by 20. Right side of tag behind all layers.  Duplicate and mirror copy to left, moving copy up slightly so there not symmetrical .

Element 19 - Grass - 40%. Position on the left behind Hot Sign. Duplicate and mirror copy to right.

Element 12 - Hydrant - 65%. Bottom right, behind Grass above Tyres.

Element 5 - Medical Bag - 40%. Bottom right above Hydrant.

Element 9 - Fire Alarm -30%. Right of tag, above Frames.

Element 17 - Canister - 50% - Mirror. Bottom left behind Grass above Tyres.

Element 6 - Axe - 50%. Rotate left by 40 degrees. Bottom left above Sign /Grass/Canister

Element 1 - Fire Extinguisher - 45%. Rotate left by 12. Left of tag, Behind Canister above Tyres.

Merge all layers. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info. Save as Png.

PTU Walk On The Wild Side

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I have used the amazing artwork of Arthur Crowe  HERE

Ptu Scrap kit... Dangerous B by Skyscraps  HERE

Mask 133 by Vaybs  HERE

Filters Used

Xero - Radiance

Xero - Nostalgia

DS - Dark Glass

Penta - Jeans

Open a new image 700 x 700. C/paste paper 5. Adjust gaussian blur by 3 and re size layer 85%. Load mask from disk - fit to layer and in layer palette delete mask and merge group. Re size again 85% and use raster deform tool to stretch out mask horizontally on each side by a couple of millimetres. 

Go to selections and float the mask. C/paste a close up of your tube and move into desired position below selection. top right of Image. De float, Invert and hit delete. Select none. Change blend mode of tube to screen and reduce opacity to around 40. Go back to mask layer, floating it will have deepened the opacity so reduce it  to your liking. I had mine at 85.

C/paste element 19-Firework. Re size 90% and position to left of close up. Roughly top centre of Image. D/shadow to your liking. 

C/paste element 41 - Brick Wall. Re size 40% and position top left of Image Behind firework layer and d/shadow.

C/paste element 60 -Pump. Re size to 55% and position bottom right of Image. Above this place element 61-Car re sized to 90%. D/shadow. C/paste element 15 - Cloud re sized 70 %. Position beneath car at bottom of image and apply Penta - Jeans - settings - 94 - 2 - 2. Change blend mode to multiply.

C/paste your main tube. Position to left of car. Apply Xero radiance to suit and d/shadow. 

To the top left of image, behind tube layer, above wall layer, C/paste element 62-walk sign. Re size to 40% and rotate left by 4. Behind this place element 53 - Paint Splatter re sized to 30%. D/shadow. 

C/paste Element 3-star frame. Mirror and re size to 60%. Position to left of tag. Behind Walk sign. Take your magic wand tool and click in centre to float. Modify expand by 3. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with a 2 colour linear gradient. I had foreground on grey, background on black. Angle - 90 Repeats - 4.

Select none and move new layer below frame layer. Apply DC filters- Dark glass. reflection and threshold on 128. Then apply Penta - Jeans - Settings-94-2-2. Change Blend mode to Multiply.

C/paste element 68 - Polaroid  re sized to 25 %. Again using magic wand, click centre to float. C/paste your tube mirrored in opposite direction to other copies. Position beneath selection, invert and delete. Select none. Apply Xero - Nostalgia ( settings I used below ) Reduce opacity to 80 and merge layer down. Rotate to left by 6. Duplicate, mirror copy and re size 96%. Move beneath original. D/shadow.

C/paste element 67 - Barbed Wire. Re size to 75%. Position in between Polaroid layers and use eraser tool to remove the right half of element that extends onto the car. D/shadow.

Merge Visible. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add Name and relevant copyright and tube licence. Save as Png.

PTU Sweet As Honey

Sweet As Honey was written by me on the 17th April 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I have used the Fabulous artwork of Danny Lee, available from SATC  HERE

I used a Matching Scrap kit PTU BeeBee by Bibi's collection also from SATC  HERE

Template 33 Honey by me. You can get it  HERE

Filters Used ( Optional )
Xero Radiance
EyeCandy Shadowlab
PhotoEffex Scanlines

Open template, duplicate and close original. Delete credits and background.
In layer palette - Striped Circle. Selections - float and C/Paste paper of choice from kit. I used Paper 1. De float - invert and hit delete. Select none. D/shadow. Delete original layer.

Layer Palette- Black rectangle- Repeat same fill process as for previous layer. I used paper 9 re sized at 70%.

Layer Palette- Yellow Rectangle- Repeat process. I used paper 8 re sized at 70%.

Layer Palette- Grey circle- Repeat Process. I used paper  re sized at 70%. Change blend mode to overlay and merge down with original temp layer. D/Shadow.

Layer Palette- Oval- Repeat process. I used paper 4 re sized at 70%. Change blend mode to Hard light and again merge this layer down with original layer and D/Shadow.

C/Paste Element 6 -Yellow radial. Resize to 80% and move to the bottom of  your layer palette. Use Raster deform tool to position and stretch left and right so it just exceeds the width of the template layers. Apply PhotoEffex Scanlines. Settings I used below.

C/Paste your tube and position in the centre of your tag. Apply Xero- radiance to suit. and drop shadow.
Work desired elements around your tube and drop shadow to your liking. I used...

60 Star Bling. I used  manual colour correction to change from black to yellow. Place to right of image above dark circle. I used raster deform to stretch it the full length of the circle and applied Eye candy-Shadowlab

50 Honeycomb- Re sized to 90 %. Position bottom right of image above tube. Behind word art. Duplicate and re size copy to 80%. Keep the copy above original and move it over to the left a little.

7 Flower- Re sized to 75%. Bottom left of image behind honeycomb and tube layers.

1 Cupcake- Re sized 90%. Bottom left above flower.

10 Jar- Re sized to 50%. Bottom Right above honeycomb.

32 Bee. Bottom right above word art.

2 Lillies- Left of image behind flower and tube layers.

40 Butterfly- Re sized to 40 %. Left of image above flower. duplicate- mirror and place copy higher up the image.

56. Dashed Line. Re sized 80%. Bottom of tag . Positioned in layer palette between the 2 word art layers.

29 Black Sprig. Re sized 40%. Top left of tag . Behind butterfly and lillies.

For The Honey wording. I Filled with paper 3 re sized to 50 %. Change blend mode to hard light. Duplicate and change blend mode on copy to screen, Merge down. Float - Modify- Expand by 2. Add new raster layer and flood fill the selection with black. Select none and merge down and apply  Eye-Candy Shadowlab.

Merge all layers and Crop/resize and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence. Save as Png.

PTU Punked

Supplies Needed

Tube-  I have used 'Grace'  the stunning artwork of Diana Gali. New at SATC  HERE
Scrap Kit - I used a matching kit 'Sexy Punk' by Bibi's Collections. Also from SATC  HERE
Template 32 Punk by Me HERE
Mask of choice. I used my own.
Font used is Berlin Graffiti

Plug In's Used
PhotoEffex - Scanlines
Xero - Radiance
EyeCandy - Gradient Glow

Open template. Duplicate and close original. Delete credits and black rectangle layer.

In layer palette merge Oval 1 and 2. Selections-float and paste paper 13 re sized to 60%. De float- invert and hit delete. Select none and delete original temp layer.

Layer palette- Merge grey rectangle 1 and 2 and re size to 105%. Selections-Float. Paste paper 7 re sized to 60%. De float - invert and delete. Delete original layer.

Layer Palette- Pink Rectangle 1. Again Float. Paste paper 2 Rotated 90 degrees and align so that you have a central vertical stripe. De float - invert and delete. Repeat this for Pink Rectangle 2.

 Back to rectangle 1. Using your selection tool set on rectangle, create a thin stripe on the left. Paste paper 7 and position where you like beneath the selection. Invert and delete. Select none. Duplicate and position the copy above rectangle 2 on the right. Change blend mode on both stripes to Burn.

Layer palette- Pink Oval. Selections- Float. Paste a close up of your tube and position beneath the selection.  De float - Invert and hit delete to remove excess tube. Select none and change blend mode to Exclusion. Drop shadow and merge down with original template layer. Duplicate the layer and on the original (bottom copy) Adjust motion blur. Direction - 0- Strength - 50. Apply Photoeffex Scanlines on default settings and Effects - Edge Effects- Enhance. 

Word art - Selections - Float - modify-expand by 2. Add new layer. Flood fill with colour of choice. I used a silver gradient. Select None. Move new layer below word art layer and merge. Apply a thin white glow using EyeCandy - Gradient Glow. D/shadow.

C/paste your main tube. Add Xero - Radiance if you so wish. Position and drop shadow to your liking. 

With our tube in place we can now work our chosen elements around it. ..... I used 

62 City-Re sized 60%. Position behind Tube and Word art. Duplicate and working on the original, apply Motion blur- direction 90 - strength 50, then again with direction at 270. Apply PhotoEffex - Scanlines on default settings and Effects-Edge effects- Enhance. Drop shadow the top copy.

17 Traffic light- Position right of image behind tube. Use eraser tool to remove excess at the bottom. Duplicate and repeat the motion blur, scanlines and edge effects we applied on city element. Drop shadow top copy.

41 Checked pattern - Re sized 30%. Centre of image. Behind city and tube.

27 Star Trail-Re sized 85%. Behind City and tube. Above pattern.

13 Chain - Re sized 50%.  Position top of rectangle 1, duplicate and move copy to the top of rectangle 2. Drop shadow.

14 Heart - Re sized 50%. Image - Mirror. Bottom left of tag, behind tube. D/shadow.

77 Arrows. Position bottom of tag. Behind heart and tube layers.

8 Bow/Web-Re sized 30%. Bottom right. Behind word art. D/shadow.

107 Purple Circles. Top right. Duplicate. Adjust gaussian blur on bottom copy by 3.

102 Blue Stars - Re sized 35%. Bottom right above tube. D/shadow.

Apply Mask if you so wish. Merge visible. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant copyright and tube licence info. Save as Png.

PTU Slam Dunk

Slam Dunk was written by me on 28th March 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Tube used is 'Sara'. The gorgeous artwork of Jose Cano and fabulous matching Scrap Kit also named 'Sara' from Skyscraps. Both available from SATC  HERE

Filters Used

Xero - Porcelain.

This is quite a quick tut. Nothing too in depth. Perfect for if your having a brew and 20 mins Psp time while the dinners cooking or your waiting to pick the kiddies up from school.

Open a new image 700 x 700. Open element 32 - Half tone. Re size 90% and paste as a new layer. Choose a frame from scrap kit. I used element 12 Oval frame re sized 70%. Position slightly towards upper right of half tone. Take your magic wand and click inside to float. Selections- modify-expand by 2. Open a new raster layer and flood fill with a linear gradient using 2 colours from your tube. Angle on 45- 0 repeats. Move this new layer below frame. 

Still selected paste a close up of your tube. Move into desired position below the floating selection. Selections-De float-invert and hit delete. Select None. Apply Xero-Porcelain on default setting and change blend mode to luminance legacy.

Paste1 of the star frames. I used 28 and re size 50%. Position to left.  Again click magic wand in centre of frame to float.

Selections-modify-expand by 2. Paste paper of choice from kit. I used paper 1. Move paper beneath the selection and De float - invert and delete. Select none. Apply porcelain as before and change the opacity in layer palette to 80%.

Paste your tube move to desired position and drop shadow. Now place desired elements from kit, working around your tube and frames. Drop shadow to your liking. I used ....

Ele16 Sneakers. Re sized 80%.  Positioned bottom of tag. Above frame, below tube.

Ele 3 Trophy. Re sized 60%. Right of tag. Below Sneakers, above frame.

Ele 5. Scoreboard. Re size 60%. Rotate right by 12. Positioned above frame behind other elements.

Ele 4 Whistle. Re sized 25%. Bottom of tag, above tube layer.

Merge visible and crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence . Save as Png. 

All done.

Let's Crack on.

Open template, duplicate and close original. Delete credits.

 In layer palette. Merge smaller circles. Selections -Float Paste paper 3 at 90%. De Float- invert and delete. Select none and delete original.

Large Grey Circle. Float Paste paper 2 at 70%. De float-invert and delete. Select and delete original.

Large black rectangle. Apply Texture-Blinds. Vertical-Width 5-Opacity 50. Colour- Grey.

Blue Rectangle. Float-New raster layer and flood fill with 2 colour  Linear Gradient ( I used pink and grey) Angle 45 - repeats 0. Apply Tramages- Mo Jellyfish - see settings below. Select none and delete original layer

Small rectangle 1. Float-New raster layer and flood fill with same gradient as used before but have repeats on 1. Apply Texture effects - Textures- Squares see settings below. Select none and delete original layer.

Small rectangle 2. Float- New raster layer flood fill with Linear gradient made of 2 different shades of grey.  Angle 45 - repeats 0. Still selected, Paste a close up of your tube. De float-invert and delete. Select none .Apply radiance to suit your tube and change blend mode to multiply and drop shadow.

Paste your main tube and drop shadow. Add elements of choice and drop shadow to your liking I used....

3 Headphones- Re sized 70%.

26 Decks- Re sized 80%. Rotated right by 8.

73 Stars. Re sized 60%.

75 Speakers. Re sized 80%.

47 Spikeball. Re sized 60%

5 Lips. Re sized 80%. Rotated right by 8.

59 keyboard. Re sized 90%.

27 Equalizer. Re sized 70%. Duplicated and flipped.

Open Template, duplicate and close original. Delete background and credits. 

In Layer palette - Pink Rectangle. Selections - Float .Paste element 136  re sized to 120%. Selections- Modify - Invert and delete. Select none. Merge down with original temp layer. Drop shadow.

 Layer palette- blue shape. Selections - float. Paste paper 10 re sized to 80%. Selections - invert and delete. Select none and delete original layer.

Layer Palette - Green Oval. Selections - float. Paste paper 1 re sized to 50%. Invert and delete. Select none, delete original layer. Drop shadow

Layer Palette - Border. Selections - float. Paste paper 6 re sized to 60%. Invert and delete. Select none, delete original. Drop shadow.

Yellow Squares. Selections - Float Paste element 136. Invert selection and delete. Select none and delete original squares.

Paste your tube. move to desired position and drop shadow.

Element 83 Purple Bunny. Re Sized to 40%. Image mirror. Bottom left behind flowers.

Element 92 Purple Flower. Re sized to 40%. Rotate left by 6. Bottom left behind bunny.

Element 24. Button Cherries. Re size 70%. Image mirror. Top left.

Element 134 Green Bow. Re sized to 60%. Top left above Button Cherries.

For the word art. I flood filled with gradient, applied a little noise and used Shadowlab on a low setting with no blur.

Merge layers and crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant copyright information.
