FTU Party Rockers


Party Rockers was written by Myself on 20th June 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I have used the awesome artwork of Diana Gali. Available from SATC  HERE
Amazing Ftu Scrap kit is 'Rock My Lollipop'. A collab by Kristin and Justine. I have used Kristin's part. You can find this on her blog, Toxic Desirez  HERE

Filters Used
Mura's Meister - Copies
Cybia - Screenworks


Open a new image 700 x 700. C/paste the CD element from kit re sized to 95%  in the centre of the canvas.
C/paste Splatter element from kit re sized 50 %. Apply Mura's - Copies - Encircle. Settings below. Move this layer behind CD layer.


  Above the CD layer C/paste Frame re sized to 75%.

Using your magic wand tool click inside the centre of frame to float the inner circle. Selections - Modify - Expand by 3. C/paste a close up of your tube and position to the left of the floating circle. Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none. Change blend mode to Burn. Move the tube layer below the frame.

C/Paste your main tube roughly centrally above the frame. Add a drop shadow. With this tube in place go back to your close up and using eraser tool, remove close up that exceeds right of your main tube.

In layer palette select CD layer again. Using your freehand selection tool draw a semi circle to the right of the Cd keeping within the edge of the black circle on the frame layer.. See pic below...



Once your happy with your selection go to Selections menu and promote selection to layer. Select none. Apply Cybia Screenworks - Boxed Dot - Mode 0.

Now work desired elements from kit around tube and frame. D/shadow to your liking. I used .....

Music Bars - 75%. Behind tube layer centrally across the frame. Apply Shadow.

Buttons - 95%. Behind tube layer. Above Music Bars.

Guitar - 75%. Above Buttons. Left of canvas. Apply Shadow.

Skull - 25%. Mirror - Bottom left above Guitar layer.

Microphone - 60% Rotate right 60 degrees. Bottom right of canvas.

Ticket - 50 %. Rotate left 7 degrees.Bottom right of tag behind Microphone.

Splatter- 50%. Bottom right of canvas. Behind all other layers.

Merge Layers. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant copyright and tube licence info. Save as Png.

FTU Love And Peace

Supplies Needed.
Tube of choice. I have used the amazing artwork of Arthur Crowe  HERE

Template 45 By Me  PSP or PSD

Filters Used
Xero - Radiance
EyeCandy - Chrome


Open template, duplicate, close off original and delete credits and background.

In layer palette - Select and float Outer cream circle. C/paste paper 5 re sized to 80 %. De float, invert and hit delete. Select none and delete original temp layer.

Layer palette - Select and float Brown Circle. C/paste frame 4 re sized to 88%. Position within the selection. De float, invert and delete. Select none and delete original layer. 

Layer Palette - Select and float the inner cream circle. C/paste paper 5 again. De float, invert and delete. Select none and delete temp layer.

Large Star - Take your magic wand tool and click in centre to float. Modify - Expand by 3. C/paste paper 10. Invert the selection and hit delete. Still selected C/paste a close up of your tube. Position where desired beneath the floating selection and hit delete again. Select none. Move both layers beneath the star layer. Apply radiance to suit your tube and change blend mode to Luminance Legacy.

Small Star 1 - Click in centre with magic wand to float. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with blue ( I used #212256 ) Select none and move new fill layer below star. In tool palette select Symmetric shape - Star - Number of sides 5 - Create on vector checked and with  background and fill properties in colour palette set on white, create a small star. Convert to raster. Duplicate a couple of times and position within the star and d/shadow.

Small Star 2 - Click in centre with wand to float. Modify - Expand by 3. Add new raster layer and flood fill with a vertical stripe using pattern in your material palette. I use Psp9  my pattern was graphic 10. Angle 90 - Scale 50. I used manual color correction to change my black stripe to red #a82033. Select none and move fill layer below star layer. 

Apply Chrome ( see settings below ) to all 3 star frames and d/shadow.


C/paste your main tube to the right of your close up and drop shadow.  

Now work desired elements from kit around your tube and temp layers and d/shadow to your liking.
I used ....

Smear - Position top left of tag behind all layers. Duplicate and mirror copy to right. Merge layers together. Duplicate again and flip copy to bottom of canvas. Merge top and bottom layers and duplicate again. Rotate the copy to right by 90 degrees. Merge layers again and apply Xero-Radiance. Reduce opacity to 75%


Deco 2- 50%. Duplicate twice and position around the camo frame.

Helo - 60%. Top right of tag behind tube layer.

Crates - 60%. Bottom right of tag behind tube layer.

Rifle - 60%. Rotate right by 60%. Bottom right above crates, behind tube.

Grass - Behind tube layer. Above crates.

Tank - 65%.  Bottom of canvas behind grass layer.

Twisted Wire - Bottom of canvas. Above tank, behind grass.

Sign - 50%. Rotate left by 14. left of tag.

Bomb - 70%. Bottom left of tag above wire.

Grenade 2 - 50%. Bottom left above bomb.

Dog Tags - 65%. Bottom left behind bomb.

Merge layers. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant copyright and tube licence info. Save as Png.

FTU Summer Radiance

Summer Radiance was written by Myself on 6th June 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed.
Tube of choice - I have used the beautiful artwork of Zlata_M. This tube I purchased from The Psp Project    HERE

Gorgeous Ftu Scrap kit 'Summer Citrus' By Mirella @ A Space Between  HERE

Word Art is by Me  HERE

Filters Used
Xero - Radiance
Mura's Meister - Copies

Open a new image 700 x700. C/paste Element 28 - Circle frame re sized to 85% in the centre of the canvas. Using your magic wand, click in centre of frame to float. Go to selections - modify-expand by 2. C/paste a paper from kit as a new layer. I used paper 4. Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none and move new layer below frame layer.  Apply Xero -  Radiance ( settings below) to the frame and D/shadow.


Open word art and C/paste into centre of frame.

C/paste element 42 - Paper Rosette re size to 155% and move to bottom of layer palette.D/shadow.

 C/paste Element 11 - Flower. re size to 50% flip and apply Muras Copies - Encircle. See settings below. Re size again to 115%. Apply Xero - Radiance. Settings as above. Move this layer below paper rosette and reduce opacity to 80.



C/paste element 22 - Rose Frame and position between rosette and flower layer, apply radiance and drop shadow.
C/paste element 38 - Flower buds. Re size 60% and position bottom right of image. Duplicate and mirror copy to left. Merge layers and drop shadow.

C/paste your tube and position centrally above the previous layer. Apply Xero - Radiance to suit the tube you are using and drop shadow to your liking.

C/paste desired elements from kit around tube and frame layers. D/shadow to your liking.
I used .....

Element 5 - Green Ribbon.  Top of canvas, behind tube layer. 

Element 7 - Butterfly - Re sized 30%. Apply light Radiance. Position top left of frame, duplicate and mirror copy to right.

Element 18 - White flower - Re sized 40%. Bottom right behind buds. Duplicate, mirror copy and position above copy 1.

Element 4 - Leaves - Re sized 60%. Right of canvas behind white flowers.

Element 9 - Berries - Re sized 30%. Bottom right of tag above tube layer.

Element 21 - Yellow flower - Re sized 25%. Apply Radiance. Duplicate twice and arrange as a cluster bottom left of canvas behind bud layer. 

Element 47 - Bird - Re sized 28%. Position bottom left above flowers.

Element 20 - White flower cluster - Re size 40 %. - Rotate right by 90. Position left of canvas Behind yellow flowers.

Element 36 - Birdhouse. Left of canvas. Behind flowers. Use eraser tool to remove post.

Merge Visible. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant artist copyright and tube licence info. Save as Png.

FTU Private Dancer




Private Dancer was written by Myself on 3rd June 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed

Tube of choice. I have used the Gorgeous artwork of VeryMany. This tube is at SATC  HERE
Fab FTU Scrap kit 'Guitar Star' by Addictive Pleasures  HERE
Template 41 by Me  HERE
Mask of choice. The one I used is my own. HERE  If you would like it.

Filters Used
Tramages - Mo Jellyfish
Xero - Radiance
PhotoEffex - Scanlines
EyeCandy - Chrome and Shadowlab


Open template, duplicate and close original. Delete credits.
In layer palette - Blue Rectangle. Selections - float. C/paste paper 11 from kit as a new layer. De float - Invert the selection and hit delete. Select none and delete original temp layer. Apply Mo jellyfish with settings below. D /shadow.



Layer palette - Merge thin rectangle 1 and 2. Float, C/paste paper 12. De float - invert and delete. Select none and delete original temp layer. D/shadow. 

Layer palette - Merge purple square 1 and 2. Float, add new raster and flood fill with a 2 colour linear gradient. Angle 45 - Repeats 2. I used colours - #b79f4f and #050505. Select none and delete original temp layer. Apply PhotoEffex - Scanlines on default settings with vertical checked. Now apply Xero - radiance. Settings I used below. D/shadow.


Layer Palette - Lined Rectangle. Float, C/paste paper 10. De float, invert and delete. Select none. Delete temp layer and D/shadow.

Layer Palette - Purple Rectangle. Float, add new raster layer and flood fill with same gradient but changing repeats to 1. Select none, delete temp layer. Again apply Scanlines on default, un check vertical so that our lines are horizontal.

Layer Palette - Inner Rectangle. Fill with gradient as instructions for previous layer. Whilst rectangle is floated C/paste a close up of your tube. Shadow and apply Xero - Radiance to suit your tube. Position as desired below the floating selection and invert and delete. Select none. Change blend mode on tube to Luminance legacy. Apply Scanlines and merge tube layer down with the inner rectangle layer. Duplicate this merged layer and float the top copy. Selections - Modify - Contract by 10. Invert and hit delete. Change the blend mode of the bottom copy to Multiply.

Stars - Apply EyeCandy - Chrome - Outdoor. Add Shadow.

C/paste your tube and position to left of canvas. D/shadow. Now work desired elements from kit around tube and template layers and d/shadow to your liking. I used ....


Microphone - Paste behind tube. Use eraser to remove top that exceeds top of tube.

Fan - Re size 50 %. Position top left of tag between large rectangle and thin rectangle.

Light Ray - Re size 75%. Flip and position behind Microphone.

Wire  - Re size 50 %. Use manual color correction to Darken colour. Paste top of tag above rectangle layer. Duplicate and flip copy to bottom.

Chain - 75%. Position to right of tag. Using magic wand tool click in centre of each hollow star to float. Modify - Expand by 2. Add new raster layer and flood fill the selection with black. Select none and move new layer below chain element.

Ribbon - Re size 50 %. bottom left of tag. Duplicate and mirror copy to right.

Music Notes 2 - Re size 50%. Towards bottom of tag, behind stars layer.

Glitter - Re size 50%. Bottom left behind ribbon. Duplicate, mirror copy to right.

Private word art - Float - modify - expand by 2. Add new layer. Flood fill with gold colour. Select none. Move below original layer. Merge down. Duplicate  and re size copy to 80 %, opacity at 70. Duplicate this copy and re size again 80%. Opacity 50%.

Dancer word art - Float - C/paste paper 7. De float, invert and delete. Select none, delete original layer. Apply Mo Jellyfish with settings used earlier. Float - modify - expand by 2. Add new layer. flood fill the selection with black. Select none. Move below gold layer and merge both layers. Shadow. I duplicate and moved copy to left of canvas behind elements and reduced opacity.

Mask layer. C/paste a paper from kit. I used paper 10 re sized at 95%. Load mask from disk - fit to layer. in layer palette - delete mask and merge group. Use raster deform tool to stretch and position then duplicate layer to strengthen opacity to your liking.

Merge visible. Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant copyright and licence info Save as Png.
