FTU Beach Party


















Beach Party was written by Myself on 5th July 2013. It is my own idea and creation. Any similarity to any other tag or tutorial is co incidental.

Supplies Needed
Tube of choice. I have used the gorgeous artwork of VeryMany. This tube you can  find at SATC  HERE

Fab FTU scrap kit is 'Beach Bum' by Nicky @ Inzpired Creationz Freebiez  HERE
You ll find the kit  as part of bundle 1. Please leave a thank you when downloading :)

Mask of choice. I used Wsl 235 by Chelle   HERE

Template 50 by Me  PSP HERE    PSD HERE

Filters Used
UnPlugged Tools - Spice Dots
EyeCandy - Chrome


Open template, duplicate and close original. Delete credits, Pink circle 2 and yellow circle 2.
In layer palette - Orange Oval. Selections - float. C/paste paper of choice from kit. I used paper 4 re sized to 80%. De float, invert the selection and hit delete. Select none and change blend mode to overlay.    . Merge down with original temp layer and drop shadow. Reduce opacity to 80%.

Layer palette - Yellow Shape. Selections - float - add new raster layer and flood fill with a 2 colour gradient with colours taken from your tube. Settings - sunburst - angle 45 - repeats 1. Select none and apply Unplugged Tools - Spice Dots with settings below. D/shadow and delete original temp layer.




Layer Palette - Yellow Circle 1. Float - C/paste paper 4 re sized to 80%. De float, invert and hit delete. Select none, delete temp layer and drop shadow.

Layer Palette - Pink Oval. Float - C/paste paper 3 re sized to 70%. De float, invert and hit delete. Select none and delete original temp layer.

Layer Palette - Pink Circle 1. Float, add new raster layer and flood fill with gradient we used previously. Select none and delete temp layer. C/paste Element - Orange 2, re sized to 45%. Position over the circle and change blend mode of Orange to overlay. Merge down and drop shadow.

White Oval Border - Apply Chrome - Settings I used below. D/shadow.


C/paste your tube and position roughly central on your tag. D/shadow. Now work desired elements from kit around tube and template layers and D/shadow to your liking. I used....

Sun - 70%. Position top right of tag , Above shape, behind oval.

Sand 1 - 80%. Bottom of tag. Above temp layers, behind tube layer.

Cocktail 2 - 70%. Bottom left of tag. Above orange layer.

Coconuts - 50%. Image - mirror. Bottom left behind cocktail 2.

Cocktail 1 - 45%. Image Mirror. Bottom left, above cocktail 2.

Ukulele - 70%. Image - mirror. Rotate right by 30. bottom right of tag behind tube layer.

Flower 1 - 50%. Bottom right of tag behind Ukulele. Duplicate - Mirror and flip copy to top left of tag. Re size to 80%. Rotate left by 8.

Sunblock - 35%. Bottom right above Flower 1 behind Ukulele.

Scene 1 - 40%. Right of tag behind Flower 1.

Word Art - Float - add new layer. flood fill selection with gradient we used previously. Apply spice dots as before. Select none and change blend mode to hard light. Merge down with original word art layer then merge this layer down with white word art layer and drop shadow.

Mask layer - C/paste paper 5 as new layer. Move to bottom of layer palette. Adjust gaussian blur by 10 and re size to 85%. Load mask from disk - fit to layer. In layer palette, delete mask and merge group. Use raster deform to position to your liking. Reduce opacity to 70%.

Merge layers and Crop/re size and sharpen to your liking. Add name and relevant copyright and licence info. Save as Png...
